Safety Tech
Assist with PPE signage, this would include actual placement of signs and verifying updated. Assist in safety signage on the floor throughout the plant.Assist in compliance records retention, and spot check for accuracy.Assist in builiding out the training calendar for 2025/26. Inventory and organize PPE for Teams that require speciality items. Assist with documenting work processes for new JSA forms and catalog all submitted JSA's. Collect information from air,noise,temperture/humidity monitors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform safety audits on signage, warnings and PPE
Perform data entry, update documentation of trainings and safety programs
Monitor and manage inventory of PPE
Perform safety walks mutliple times a day to ensure support and identify issues/problem solve
Document Job Safety Analysis (JSA) forms with updated format and process across the plant, deploy the project across the plant
Perform safety risk assessments and make recommendations
Ensures appropriate action is taken where safety hazards exist
Desired Skills:
Experience delivering safety training and developing safety course content
Experience in electrical safety, LOTO, machine guarding, training, and ergonomics a plus
Understanding of the issues related to manufacturing environment
Experience with detailed hazard recognition and preparation of written assessments/proactive remedies
Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of groups and write clear, concise reports & correspondence
Knowledge of applicable region specific federal, state, and local health and safety regulations (OSHA and NFPA standards)
Basic knowledge of the solid and hazardous waste (i.e. RCRA), Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), groundwater and drinking water rules
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
Requirements:
Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 12 hours per day):
o Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl
o Climb using both legs and arms
o Head/neck movement
o Reach outward or above the shoulder
o Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 45 pounds
Repetitive use of hands and fingers, both hands
Notes:
Hours: Mon-Thurs 5am-4pm with potential OT as needed, occasional Fridays
Manufacturing runs a 4x10 production schedule (Mon-Thurs, 5:*30AM - 4:*00PM). This role will support production and site projects that may require working occassional Fridays as needed.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
