Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet each customer and assist by answering questions, providing guidance, and establishing rapport
- Locate, pull, and prepare materials as indicated on pick lists
- Ensure quality control by verifying piece counts, material grades, and dimensions
- Operate saws, torches, and other equipment to process material to customer specifications
- Operate and drive forklifts and control movements of the lifting apparatus
- Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, trucks, and customer vehicles
- Stock inventory ensuring proper locations and piece counts
- Follow company safety policies and procedures
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard and computer
- Ability to multi-task, be attentive, and flexible
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of supervisor
- Strong understanding of measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and scales
- Ability to maneuver and manipulate materials both manually and with the use of overhead crane by bending, twisting, reaching overhead, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75lbs. occasionally

- Aptitude in industrial machinery and equipment
