What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Technician position at Corepay, Inc?
The apartment maintenance technician carries out slight carpentry, electrical, refurbishing, a lot of painting, and sheet rock repairs.
Also responsible for performing landscaping and snow removal, as well as maintenance of common areas in housing facilities.
On Call duties are required!!!!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform regular check on exterior parts of buildings and general areas, carrying out repairs and offering janitorial help as required.
- Support scheduled unit inspections.
- Renovate apartments before they are occupied (apartment turnovers). Handle all Painting!
- Keep precise records with regards to preventive maintenance of all accessories on a monthly basis on recommendation of the manufacturer or as mandated by housing requirements or ordinance.
- Give responses to resident service inquiries.
- Carry out all on-call issues as necessary.
- Give report on maintenance matters for reconstruction of models, vacant and/or routine areas to the supervisor.
- Perform maintenance inventory checks on a routine basis and order supplies as needed.
- Render assistance to the manager on specific maintenance projects.
- Complete work orders as needed.
- Ability to multi task and prioritize.
- At least a high school diploma or a commensurate degree with Trade school degree an added advantage.
- Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures, maintenance and operating rules as well as procedure manuals.
- Efficient skills in contributing to routine correspondence and written reports.
- Must have good painting skills.
- Persistently engages a professional polite attitude when relating with coworkers, the general public and residents.
- Engages in open communication with property management team.
- Prior experience as an apartment maintenance technician or in a similar role preferred.
- HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification will be advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
- Dexterity and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Available to work on weekends and early mornings or evenings if/when required.
Salary : $26 - $30
