Fintech Entry Level Sales Account Representative Position:


Join our growing fintech payment company as an Entry Level Sales Account Representative driving high-quality phone meetings for our Director of Sales. With an increase in inbound leads, we are seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy, and driven professional eager to start a career in sales. We are committed to mentoring a motivated sales representative who is eager to learn and grow within our company.


This Sales Account Rep role combines the tactical elements of prospecting and lead qualification with strategic outreach and continuous self-improvement. Success relies heavily on organization, communication skills, persistence, and knowledge on all three of our corporate brands and the payment space. Managing social media, building relationships with decision-makers, and staying proactive in follow-ups are key to meeting targets and driving business growth.


The daily duties of a Sales Account Rep:


1. Prospect, Educate, and Qualify New Business Prospects:

  • Goal: Identify and develop new sales opportunities by engaging with prospects.
  • Activity: Engage with leads from in-bound leads and your own outreach (via calls, emails, social media) to schedule meetings for our Director of Sales.


2. Answer Calls and Reply to Leads:

  • Goal: Provide timely responses to incoming inquiries and proactively manage the pipeline.
  • Activity: Function as the first point of contact for new leads, helping them understand our products/sister-brands, and quickly identifying whether they are sales-ready. Use established guidelines for phone and email outreach, refining your communication style to better engage prospects over time.


3. Create and Prioritize Target Account Lists:

  • Goal: Maximize engagement by targeting high-value accounts and prospects.
  • Activity: Use social media and/or Zoom Info leads to build lists of companies or individuals to target based on industry, size, or other relevant criteria. Cross-referencing these lists and reaching out to potential leads before trade shows to schedule meetings.


4. Manage Day-to-Day Activities for Follow-Ups:

  • Goal: Stay organized and persistent with daily follow-up schedule to meet targets. Identify, qualify, sort and track leads in CRM.
  • Activity: Use CRM such as, Salesforce and Outreach to track interactions, schedule follow-ups, and maintain communication with prospects.


5. Stay Informed on Product, Market, and Competitors:

  • Goal: Ensure you have up-to-date knowledge to effectively position our brand and related sister companies to ensure cross-sales. Track competitors’ social media activity to stay informed on their positioning, campaigns, and content, ensuring our brand maintains a competitive edge.
  • Activity: Continuously learn about our products, approved verticals, market trends, and competitive landscape to enhance your ability to sell effectively. This also helps you speak confidently during conversations with prospects.


6. Manage Corporate LinkedIn Account

  • Goal: Build the company’s social media presence and engage with a broader audience.
  • Activity: Consistently post blog content, industry insights, or relevant topics on LinkedIn. Engage with partners and prospects by sharing upcoming events and participating in conversations.


7. Participate in Sales Training and Share Best Practices

  • Goal: Foster a continual growth mindset and continuously improve your skills. This position offers mentorship, with our Sales Director committed to training you with the goal of advancing within the company.
  • Activity: Attend regular sales training sessions and collaborate with teammates to stay sharp. You should be open to feedback and always looking for ways to optimize your approach.


Qualifications For Success


  • Full-time office position in Winter Park, Florida office.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Working knowledge of the payment space or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated the ability to work independently, as well as being a productive team member.
  • Have a strong work ethic and eager to learn and make new connections with prospects.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and CRM systems is preferred.
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment.
  • Competitive compensation of $40,000-$50,000/yr monthly commissions.
  • Vacation and Sick time.
  • Paid Holidays.

Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
