Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-satisfactory deployments and expansions within identified geographic markets.
This role focuses on supporting customers in specified markets but may involve managing multi-market deployments simultaneously.
The Project Manager leads and coordinates inter-departmental activities to guarantee accurate and timely deployments.
Collaboration with Sales Engineering, Data Center Operations, and Sales ensures seamless communication and successful customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and manage customer move-in, expansion, and migration projects
- Coordinate with other Project Managers to complete multi-market deployments
- Develop project scope of work documents and define project deliverables and plans in collaboration with customers, Sales Engineering, Data Center Operations, and Sales
- Ensure quality delivery and customer satisfaction by verifying accuracy against Master Service Agreements/Order Forms and contractual Service Level Agreements
- Manage support resources to ensure accurate work orders
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle by anticipating customer needs and communicating proactively
- Collaborate with internal business units to evaluate, identify, and resolve project risks
- Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with business units to implement changes
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of data center electrical and mechanical systems and IT infrastructure
- Passionate drive to deliver world-class customer service
- Superior project management skills
- Positive, energetic approach and flexibility in a high-growth, dynamic environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed
- Experience in business process analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending solutions
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Project)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required
- At least 5 years' experience in customer service
- Co-location or data center or telecommunications experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Salesforce experience a plus
