Position Overview
CoreStack, a leader in AI-driven Cloud Governance , is seeking an experienced and innovative Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization. As VP of Engineering, you will oversee the development, delivery, and optimization of our cutting-edge platform that empowers enterprises with FinOps, SecOps, CloudOps, and Assessment. This strategic leadership role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional people management skills to drive the vision, execution, and growth of CoreStack’s engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering Leadership :
- Define and drive the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with CoreStack’s business objectives.
- Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of new features, enhancements, and solutions for the CoreStack platform.
2. Platform Development :
Oversee the development of a scalable, secure, and highly available multi-cloud governance platform.Champion AI and machine learning integration to deliver advanced automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent insights.Establish best practices for design, coding, testing, and DevOps to streamline the product development lifecycle.3. Strategic Collaboration :
Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams to understand market needs and translate them into technical solutions.Collaborate with the executive team to prioritize initiatives and allocate resources effectively.Act as a key representative of the engineering team in customer and partner engagements, ensuring technical alignment with business objectives.4. Talent Development :
Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.Provide mentorship and career growth opportunities to engineers, managers, and technical leads.Build a diverse and inclusive team that thrives on solving complex challenges.5. Operational Excellence :
Establish and refine KPIs to measure engineering efficiency, platform performance, and delivery timelines.Drive cost-effective development practices while maintaining quality and scalability.Continuously improve system reliability, security, and cloud-native best practices.Qualifications and Experience
Professional Experience :
15 years in software engineering, with 7 years in senior leadership roles (Director, VP, or equivalent).Proven experience scaling engineering teams in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environment.Hands-on experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) and governance frameworks.2. Technical Expertise
Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture, microservices, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies.Expertise in AI / ML applications, data pipelines, and real-time analytics.Strong programming background in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.3. Leadership Skills
Exceptional ability to align technical teams with company strategy and foster cross- functional collaboration.Proven track record of leading globally distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with near-term execution.Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).Industry certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.Key Attributes
