About the Role
Under the guidance of physicians and other healthcare professionals, the Senior Special Procedure Tech will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, monitoring vital signs, operating specialized equipment, and providing education to patients and families. This role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination.)
Key Responsibilities
- Performing IV starts, prepping patients, and monitoring hemodynamics
- Operating specialized equipment and documenting procedures
- Providing patient/family education and support
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT) for Interventional Radiology
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, Exercise Physiologist, or equivalent training and/or education for Cath Lab/EP Lab
- More than 3 years of Interventional experience
- BLS certification and active RT status upon hire, and an RT-CV or VI registration for IR
- BLS and ACLS upon hire, Registered RCES/RCIS/RT certification, and IABP certification for Cath Lab
- BLS and ACLS upon hire, Registered RCIS/RCES/RT for EP Lab
