Job Description: As a RN Medical Oncology, you will be working in a 30-bed inpatient unit specializing in the treatment of patients with hematological and oncological illness. You will have the opportunity to work with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, end-of-life care, and assist with unique bedside procedures. Our team provides not only nursing care but also educational and emotional support to our patients and their families.About Corewell Health: We are a health system comprising three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, long-term care residences, home care, and hospice services. We provide inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Responsibilities: The RN, under the ANA scope of practice, utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care. They partner with patients and families to develop teaching strategies and document education and learning in the health record.
