About the Unit: Corewell Health's Cardiac Progressive Unit is a 30-bed specialized care area for patients with post-CVL procedure, cardiac, CHF, respiratory issues, and chest pain/observation needs. Our certified stroke center and chest pain unit serves patients of all ages with various complaints, ensuring high patient satisfaction and quality scores. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4-5:1 on days and 5-6:1 on nights.
Scope of Work: As an RN, you will utilize the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient-family centered principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures, and recognizing the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on outcomes.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree within 5 years. Graduates from non-accredited schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role, with successful NCLEX licensure examination completion.
