Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered care to patients and families by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals and outcomes
- Document patient education and learning in the health record
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
- NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days
