Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients. The RN works under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient goals and outcomes
- Document patient education and learning in the health record

Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year
- NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days
Work Environment
- Works primarily in a hospital setting
- May be required to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods
Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
