Scope of Work
">The Graduate Nurse plays a key role in delivering high-quality patient care in conjunction with a mentoring Registered Nurse. They will perform ongoing assessments, formulate goal-directed plans of care, and implement delegated direct care activities based on skills learning and clinical training.
Responsibilities
">Collaborate with the mentoring RN on the nursing process, supporting documentation, and other items as appropriate. The Graduate Nurse is expected to successfully obtain certification/licensure from the State of Michigan and transition into a Registered Nurse role within 60 days.
Requirements
">An Associate's degree in Nursing, Bachelor's degree in Nursing within 5 years, Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role, MI Registered Nurse (RN) within 60 days, AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days, NIH Stroke Certification - NIHSS National Institute of Health Stroke Scale CHS within 90 Days.
