About the Unit
Providing Care for Patients with Neurological Illnesses
The Progressive Care Neuro Medicine unit at our Dearborn Hospital campus is a 32-bed neuro-medical unit that provides care for patients with various illnesses of the brain and nervous system. Our team of nurses also cares for general medical surgical patients with various illnesses in this area.
We have 12 telemetry beds for patients requiring close cardiac and neurological monitoring. Our team uses the latest technology and evidence-based practices to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing Required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing Required within 5 years
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination
