About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing end-of-life care and symptom management for patients with a life expectancy of six months or less.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate strategies and services required to meet the patients/family's end-of-life care needs.
- Create an outcome-based plan of care that is continually adjusted through the utilization of the nursing process, relationship-centered care principles, and holistic philosophy.
- Exhibit a 'Patients and Families First' attitude by responding with compassion, flexibility, and urgency to each patient need.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- One year of relevant experience, preferably in hospice or a related field.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days.
