About This Unit
4H is a 22-bed unit that cares for a variety of medical and surgical patients, specializing in digestive diseases. Our patient population is an even mix of medical and surgical cases, where you will see colorectal and bariatric surgical patients as well as bowel obstruction, kidney failure, cellulitis, and falls.
We are an accredited bariatric surgery center that focuses on continuous quality improvement for our patients. We have a dedicated team that is committed to providing a high level of care to help enhance our patients' and families' lives.

Scope of Work
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
- This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing Required
- Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
