Our medical-surgical unit, 4E, is a 24-bed department at Blodgett Hospital. We provide care for patients with general medical and surgical needs. Our team is known for its expertise in caring for a wide range of patients, including those requiring nasogastric tubes, urinary catheters, and urologic care.

Scope of Work
As a nurse on our team, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care that meets the standards of the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the State of Michigan. You will use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This includes upholding the standards of professional performance, such as ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, and research.

Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- A Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 90 days.
