We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Job Summary
The Graduate Nurse plays a key role in the delivery of caring, competent patient care in conjunction with a mentoring Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities include performing assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner, formulating a goal-directed plan of care, and implementing delegated interdependent and independent direct care activities based on skills learning and clinical training, assessment findings, and evaluation of any previous interventions.
Collaborates with mentoring RN on the nursing process, supporting documentation, and other items as appropriate.
Requirements
- Associate's in Nursing
- Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years
- Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 90 days
