Job Description
The Sterilization Operations Technician is responsible for ensuring that all medical instruments are properly sterilized and prepared for use in our dental and periodontal procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
- Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
- Examine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Test and report any issues or problems with sterilization equipment.
- Organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures.
- Deliver necessary equipment and instruments for procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
- Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution preferred.
