Trailwood Village Apartments, managed by Corinthian Asset Management, is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Manager to join our active and dynamic team! Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus two Saturdays per month.
- On-Call Responsibilities: Assist with after-hours maintenance dispatching on a rotating schedule to ensure resident concerns are addressed promptly.
- Salary: Starting at $50,000 per year, plus commissions.
- Benefits: PTO, commissions, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leasing & Resident Relations: Be actively involved in leasing activities, conducting tours, and maintaining high resident satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Accounts Receivable: Oversee rent collections, post payments, and manage delinquencies with a proactive approach.
- Daily Operations: Support the Property Manager with day-to-day tasks, including resident communications, vendor coordination, and ensuring the property runs smoothly.
- Make Ready Process: Coordinate and monitor unit turnovers, ensuring timely inspections and readiness for new residents.
- Office Operations: Maintain accurate records, process documentation, and ensure compliance with all policies.
- Evictions: Assist in preparing and managing eviction processes while working with legal teams and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- On-Call Support: Serve as an on-call point of contact to help dispatch maintenance requests after hours, ensuring prompt resolution of urgent issues.
- Leadership Growth: Actively participate in learning and leadership opportunities to prepare for future advancement into a Property Manager role.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred to communicate effectively with a diverse resident base.
- At least 2-3 years of active property management experience, preferably in leasing or assistant management.
- Strong knowledge of property management software (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, or similar systems).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- A proactive and energetic attitude with a desire to grow into a leadership role.
- Experience in handling accounts receivable, renewals, make-ready processes, and coordinating maintenance dispatch.
