PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Summer Student Facility Maintenance position will assist with general grounds and building maintenance, cleaning, and landscaping.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Summer Student Facility Maintenance is responsible for the following tasks:
A. General cleaning of buildings both inside and outside.
B. Wash and detail trucks and equipment.
C. Clean and organize the storage areas throughout the building and pole yard.
D. General facility painting projects.
E. General landscape and clearance work around the property.
F. Assist with lawncare and trimming.
G. Run for parts and supplies as needed.
H. All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A. High School Diploma/GED
B. Valid Driver's License
C. 17 years of age or older
D. Strong communication skills in order to clearly and professionally communicate with members.
E. Ability to apply principles of excellent member service.
F. Possess basic mechanical knowledge in order to perform light maintenance on tools and equipment.
WORK CONDITIONS
Work will mainly be performed outside in various weather conditions while traversing various terrains. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands, arms, and fingers to handle, feel, or reach; climb or balance. Employee will occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; occasionally may be required to lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work will be performed around hazardous equipment and moderate noise, with appropriate PPE and hearing protection required.
