Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee the clinical operations within our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role involves ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively while adhering to all regulatory standards and best practices. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for managing clinical staff, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and support technical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate medical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology knowledge, and HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular evaluations of clinical staff performance and provide necessary training.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed to improve health results.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams regarding treatment options and care plans.
- Stay updated on current medical practices and advancements in the field.
- Maintain the technician time cards and PTO for payroll.
- Analyze the provider's surgical measurements prior to each surgical date.
Experience
- A history of Ophthalmic experience/clinical experience
- Proven experience in a clinical supervisory role or similar position within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management, medical documentation, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care delivery.
