The successful applicant must be a self-starter, able to work without constant supervision. English a must, bi-lingual a bonus. Engaging personality a plus as successful applicant will be interacting with owners and residents.
Porter Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Porter to join our team. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of our premises, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, window cleaning and dusting of common areas, garbage rooms, & compactor rooms
- Facility Upkeep: Ensure lobbies, hallways, laundry rooms and gym are neat and well-maintained at all times. Report any maintenance issues or damage to the management team.
- Stock & Supply: Restock supplies in restrooms and break areas as needed. Track and report inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment.
- Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, and ensure proper disposal of waste in designated areas.
- Light Repairs: Perform minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and other basic tasks. Coordinate with maintenance teams for larger repairs.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Schedule:
Full-Time
Wednesday – Thursday 2 pm – 10 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 12 pm – 8 pm
Requirements:- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods, assist with luggage, and handle minor physical tasks as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Keen observation skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe, secure environment.
- Dependability: Strong sense of responsibility and reliability with a flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
