About The Smith
The Smith is an extremely popular casual neighborhood brasserie – in fact, several of our locations are among the Top 100 busiest restaurants in the US! The menu features bistro classics, seasonal fare, and craft cocktails. Our signature lively atmosphere makes The Smith a versatile setting for an after-work bite, drinks on the town, a birthday bash, a working lunch, a bountiful brunch, or an I-don’t-want-to-cook-tonight night.
The Position : Chef de Cuisine
- Candidates outside of the DMV area MUST be open to relocation
- Direct and maintain Corner Table Restaurants' culinary vision
- Oversee and direct all kitchen teams.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests.
- Make all final hiring decisions for the back of house.
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies.
- Manage labor and kitchen waste.
- Train values and maintain the integrity of the culture.

The position is based in Washington, DC
The base pay for this position is a salary range of $110,000-$120,000 per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on several factors, including but not limited to, prior employment history / job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
