Job Summary
The primary role of the Clinical Intern position is to provide support to the Outpatient Clinical Team. Some duties include; responding to phone calls, replying to voice messages left on the confidential clinical line, and providing information to potential clients seeking therapy or support group services. Clinical Interns will be responsible for entering data into our HIPAA compliant EHR (Electronic Health Records) system to ensure client information is securely stored and available to clients and staff. The role a Masters-level Clinical Intern is to facilitate Domestic Violence Support Groups as needed, and participate in all trainings specific to understanding how to support victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and exploitation, and human trafficking. Applicants must have direct experience working with people from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Cornerstone is centered on community engagement; therefore, applicants with experience working in schools or other community-centered programming is preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Complete 40 Hour sexual violence and domestic violence training within the first 30days of your internship
- Respond to phone inquiries/voicemails on the Clinic Service Line weekly and in a timely manner
- Manage clinic waitlist and reply to email inquiries
- Must be willing and able to work 1 evenings a week to co-facilitate adult support groups, virtually or in-person
- Participate in Mental Health Team Staff Meetings as required, andprofessional development trainings and workshops as assigned
- Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics, HIPAA standards, as well as MN state professional and ethical standards for mental health
- For Master's level interns: Provide counseling services (individual and/or family therapy) to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking/sexual exploitation
- Must manage a caseload of 7-10clients a week under the supervision of a licensed clinical supervisor or the Director of Mental Health & Therapy Services
- Must maintain compliance with community practice standards, complete clinical documentation as required in a timely manner
- Must have completeda Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Must be 1 year into your Master's Degree Program in either Social Work, CounselingMarriage and Family Therapy, orPsychology
- Group facilitation experience is desired, and training will be provided
- Must have a reliable vehicle or method of transportation for off-site meetings/groups
