Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for estimating material needed for various residential projects.
- Prepare detailed take-offs of framing lumber, sheathing, siding, roofing, and hardware for projects
- Keep management and outside sales up to date on status and changes to estimates
- Analyze blueprint plans and specifications to determine necessary materials and quantities
- Facilitate communication between customers & contractors to complete their estimate as accurately as possible
- Maintain a solid knowledge base of local codes, lumber products, roofing products, and industry norms
- Other duties as assigned
