What are the responsibilities and job description for the Christian Montessori Head of School (3+ Years of Experience Required) position at Cornerstone Christian Montessori?
We are a small private Christian Montessori school, only those applicants with 3 years of experience will be considered.
We are located in Elkhart, Indiana. We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated individual to serve as Head of School. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered and family-focused community that educates and nurtures the whole child based on the Montessori Method, preparing each one to become a leader with integrity who honors God and contributes to society.
Job requirements include:
- Manage daily operations
- Supervise staff and teachers
- Cultivate relationships with parents
- Guide marketing, development and growth of school
- Implement and oversee curriculum in classrooms for best practices
- Hiring staff/scheduling
- Manage payroll
Required Skills and Experience:
- At least five years of strong leadership experience with the ability to develop, engage, and inspire a team
- A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day
- Ability to build relationships with families and staff and create a dynamic environment
- Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively
- Educational experience strongly preferred, but not required
- Montessori experience preferred, but not required

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year depending on experience and education
