Location: Cornerstone Church, Fort Meade, FL
Employment Type: Part-Time
Compensation: Paid Stipend
Position Summary
We are looking for a Spirit-led Praise and Worship Leader who is called to lead authentic worship. This person will be responsible for planning, leading, and growing the music ministry of the church. This role will involve creating an atmosphere of worship that draws people closer to God through contemporary and traditional styles of music in Sunday morning services as well as other special services such as Revival and church outreach events. This role requires musical talent, spiritual maturity, and the ability to teach and direct a team of musicians and vocalists.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and lead worship for weekly services, including song selection and coordination with the pastor.
· Teach vocal harmonies and parts.
· Lead and mentor the worship team (vocalists, instrumentalists, and sound/video team), fostering spiritual growth and excellence.
· Schedule and facilitate weekly rehearsals for the worship team and attend monthly staff meeting.
Qualifications:
· A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
· Demonstrate a life lived above reproach according to biblical principles.
· Understand that leading worship as a team is a calling, not a performance.
· A passion to see the lost saved and the local church grow.
· Strong vocal and instrumental abilities (guitar or piano/keyboard preferred).
· Familiarity with worship technology (sound systems, projection software, etc).
· The ability to give and receive honest feedback and seek excellence in every aspect of ministry.
