Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Process accounts payable and manage vendor relationships.
- Utilize QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping practices.
- Conduct double entry bookkeeping to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- 1099 and tax preparation.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, including balance sheet reconciliation and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with GAAP principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and vendors.
