Join our team of therapists dedicated to supporting couples, families, and individuals on their journey towards growth and well-being. In this role, you will guide clients in recognizing and exploring their options for achieving change, providing them with the necessary tools and skills for a fulfilling life. We are currently seeking a therapist interested in working with individuals, couples, and families, as well as assisting families in managing behavioral challenges effectively with Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). We provide training in PCIT that leads to certification and the ability to work directly with families in the community thanks to a partnership with the Boise School District.

The starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, which includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, an annual bonus, professional liability insurance, supervision for licensure, paid time off, additional compensation for evening and weekend hours, and a private office with the flexibility to create your own schedule and work remotely as needed.
Applicants must hold a current Idaho state license (LAMFT, LPC, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or intern license) in good standing. Supervision for clinical licensure is also available with this position. Cornerstone Family Therapy specializes in therapy for couples, families, and individuals, as well as providing training for PCIT. Responsibilities:
- Assess for and diagnose mental health disorders through a comprehensive evaluation and assessment process
- Ability to understand and utilize an array of assessment tools for diagnosis purposes
- Develop treatment plans that outline clients’ goals and objectives to improve daily/life functioning and satisfaction
- Offer support, validation, and guidance that support the client in the healing process
- Be able to research and implement interventions for improvement of symptoms/functionality
- Encourage clients to discuss/examine historical and current experiences/emotions they have had and the reactions that come with these
- Monitor outcomes and functional changes throughout the therapeutic process and adjust goals and objectives as needed and as scheduled
- Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation of services/treatments/assessments
- Provide referrals and alternative interventions when necessary
- Collaborate with external care/support persons to support client
- Maintain confidentiality (HIPPA standards) as well as legal and ethical standards of care

Education/Experience/Job Requirements
- Must have a master’s degree in mental health counseling, couples/family counseling, social work, or related field
- Must have, and keep, an Idaho state professional license (LAMFT/LPC/LMFT/LCPC/LCSW or intern license) current and in good standing
- Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check
