Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)

Position Overview

Cornerstone Health Center is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our team. This role involves performing high-quality X-ray imaging, assisting physicians with patient care, and supporting the daily operations of a dynamic and growing practice.

Key Responsibilities

Radiologic Duties:

• Prepare patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Perform X-rays following Cornerstone Health Center’s protocols and patient care standards.
• Operate radiologic equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety measures.
• Utilize radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate records and log radiologic procedures in accordance with departmental standards.
• Consult with physicians and healthcare providers as necessary.

Clinical Support Duties:

• Assist physicians during patient exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Support patient care needs, including history, and exam preparation.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and their families, fostering trust and understanding.

Clerical and Organizational Duties:

• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
• Maintain exam rooms by restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness.
•  Manage patient records, and handle administrative tasks.
• Uphold HIPAA and clinic policies at all times.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Certifications:

• Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (preferred).

Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficient in X-ray procedures, anatomy, and physiology for accurate imaging.
• Strong understanding of radiologic safety protocols and equipment troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
• Exceptional organizational abilities to manage a fast-paced clinic environment.
