Corporate Director of Clinical Services

Cornerstone Management is a trusted leader in senior living management, dedicated to providing exceptional care and operational excellence across our assisted living and memory care communities. We are seeking an experienced Corporate Director of Clinical Services to oversee and enhance the quality of resident care across multiple states. This role requires 100% travel to support communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, and Colorado.

Position Summary

As the Corporate Director of Clinical Services, you will provide clinical oversight, regulatory compliance guidance, and quality improvement leadership to ensure the highest standards of care across all Cornerstone Management communities. This role will focus on staff training, policy implementation, clinical audits, and survey readiness, working closely with Executive Directors and nursing teams to drive excellence in resident care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Regulatory Oversight

✅ Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations across multiple states.
✅ Conduct clinical audits and risk assessments to maintain quality standards.
✅ Lead state survey preparation and response efforts for all communities.
✅ Provide guidance on infection control policies, medication management, and resident care best practices.

Staff Training & Development

✅ Develop and implement ongoing clinical training programs for nursing and care staff.
✅ Mentor and support Directors of Nursing (DONs) and healthcare teams in best practices.
✅ Ensure all staff maintain required certifications, competencies, and training.

Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI)

✅ Develop and oversee quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
✅ Track key clinical performance metrics and develop action plans for improvement.
✅ Implement fall prevention, wound care, and dementia care best practices.

Leadership & Collaboration

✅ Partner with Executive Directors, Regional Directors, and Corporate Leadership to align clinical strategies with company goals.
✅ Serve as the subject matter expert on clinical policies, procedures, and compliance issues.
✅ Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans when necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements

✔ Registered Nurse (RN) license required (must be eligible for licensure in multiple states).
✔ 5 years of senior-level clinical leadership in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care.
✔ Extensive knowledge of state and federal assisted living regulations (multi-state experience preferred).
✔ Proven track record in staff training, survey readiness, and quality improvement initiatives.
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Ability to travel 100% of the time across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, Iowa, and Colorado.
