Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Manage payroll processing and compliance with payroll regulations.
- Assessing current accounting operations.
- Offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets.
- Prepare financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Analyze budget variances and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, with some experience in the construction industry - PREFERRED.
- Expertise in accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
