Project Manager - Concrete/Masonry Renovation

Looking for a stable position with a clear path for advancement? Cornerstone is actively seeking a Project Manager for a well-established specialty contractor in the Chicago area. The Project Manager joins the branch operations team in the Chicago office and ensures the quality and timely execution of projects. Services provided by the branch include masonry, EIFS and concrete restoration, building cleaning and waterproofing. Typical projects range from $100K to $3M.

Task and responsibilities for the Project Manager include:

• Provide customer support from start to finish of all projects and maintain contact with customers during and after completion of projects.
• Assist in the estimating and pricing of work to maximize volume and profitability.
• Monitor and supervise the deployment of all projects to ensure the achievement of quality and timely execution of projects.
• Interact with Superintendent and Foreman to ensure customer/contact requirements and timelines are met.
• Document, coordinate and communicate any project change orders to field and customer. Ensure job files are maintained and complete.
• Assist in the training and development of field personnel to enhance the quality of company personnel.
• Ensure the accurate and timely billings and assist in collection efforts as required. Maintain a high level of technical expertise by participating in appropriate seminars and training programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with both current and potential clients Contribute to operating effectiveness by developing internal and external branch relationships.
  
  

To be successful in this role, the Project Manager will possess:

• High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience with a GC or specialty contractor. Experience with concrete or masonry restoration and/or waterproofing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications.
