Who we are looking for:
Cornerstone Servicing is seeking a seasoned Sr. Investor Services Associate with experience in Mortgage Servicing. The Associate position will work closely with and assist the Investor Services Manager in a proactive reconciliation process within the Investor Services group. This position will also work closely with the Cash Processing and Inv Reporting groups to ensure all cash items associated with the loans and Inv's are settled accurately. This will ensure the department activities are in compliance with investor, regulatory, government and company guidelines.
- Location: Onsite daily in Englewood, CO
- Compensation: $70-90K
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large amounts of data and condense it into executive level analytics.
- Prepare month-end reports and deliver to Senior Management
- Escalate to management any deficiencies, problems, or concerns that might be a potential risk.
- Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships, both with internal and external business partners.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 5 years accounting experience in Investor Reporting and Reconciliations with a Mortgage Servicer required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Math, or other related fields preferred
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical and judgment skills.
- Strong analytical skills and numeric aptitude
- Advanced computer skills to include SQL, MS Office with an emphasis on Excel
- Analytical skill set with rigorous attention to detail
- Effective oral and written communication skills
