Accounts Payable Clerk

Cornerstone has partnered with a dynamic and growing RV company in Fort Worth, TX, to find a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a knack for working with data in Google Sheets.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk (AP Clerk)

Pay Range: $22 - $23 per hour

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will perform various tasks associated with company payables and the company credit card. The position is fast passed and requires a high level of organizational and communication skills. The ability to work as a team and proficient time management skills are strongly encouraged. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include the following but others can be assigned:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews company credit card transactions and communicates with cardholders regarding proof of purchases
• _{Processing receiving tickets for accuracy and on time.}
• Matching and filing invoices and receipts.
• Prepare invoice due report for payment processing.
• Review payable reports and GL coding for accuracy and take proper steps to correct discrepancies.
• _{Answers queries from suppliers about unpaid invoices.}

Required Competencies; Education / Knowledge / Skills and Abilities:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• It is important that the candidates have a good understanding of Excel and can demonstrate the ability to use spreadsheets (copy and paste, basic formulas).
• _{Prior experience with accounts payable required, some accounting courses preferred}
• Intermediate Computer Skills (Google docs and Microsoft Office).
• Attention to detail with strong organization skills.
• _{General math skills experience.}
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
