Job Title: AP/AR Clerk
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (near DFW Airport)
Pay: $21
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am – 5 pm
Job Description:
As an AP/AR Clerk, you will play a crucial role in both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will manage AP and AR processes, maintain vendor and customer relationships, and ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Summary of Essential Job Duties:
Accounts Payable:
- Manage accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
- Handle AP for various entities and vendors.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Ensure vendor invoices are entered promptly and accurately.
- Process transactions and perform other necessary accounting tasks.
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and send out invoices.
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions.
- Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
Requirements:
- Preferred AP and AR experience. An educational background in Accounting or a similar field can be substituted for experience.
- Basic understanding of Accounting principles
- Basic Computer skills /Good Data Entry skills REQUIRED
- Good job stability
- High attention to detail
