Overall Responsibility
Responsible for answering customer calls regarding insurance-related questions including claim status and basic claims information, knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the insurance field
Location : Irving, TX (75039)
2 weeks of training on-site then transitions to hybrid role
Pay : $17 / hour
Schedule :
MUST be flexible to work Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
HYBRID
In Office ~ Monday & Wednesday
WFH ~ Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Responsibilities :
Responding to body shop questions regarding estimates.
Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values
Identifying accounts that require upper management review
Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in the decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.
Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.
Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Investigates and evaluates moderately complex physical damage to claims.
Evaluates repair shop and independent appraiser estimates to determine accuracy
Evaluates vehicle values and repair costs to establish repair ability versus total loss
Calculate ACV and obtain salvage quotes on all total loss claims
Receive and review vehicle photos to assess loss related damages.
Identifies and resolve problems in a timely manner
Manages difficult or emotional customer situation; Responds promptly to customer needs
