Cornerstone Staffing is partnered with a customer who is in the Electrical wholesale business. We are hiring experienced Credit Clerk or Accounts Payable Professional who have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills! Electrical product knowledge and experience is a huge plus!
Job Title: Credit Clerk
Location: Downtown Dallas
Pay: $17/hr.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, business hours
Job Description/Requirements:
- Review supplier invoices for proper documentation and approvals before processing payments.
- Enter expense invoices and ensure accurate GL coding.
- Serve as a liaison between corporate and warehouse accounts payable departments to facilitate payment processing.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Maintain and process accounts payable reports and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare account analyses as required, assisting in financial audits and reconciliations.
- Perform administrative tasks, including filing, copying, and document management.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience, preferred, but not necessary.
- Knowledgeable in Excel applications.
