Job Title: Default Reporting Specialist
Location: Remote - MUST LIVE IN THE DALLAS/FORT WORTH AREA
Pay: $32/hr - Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Job Description: The Default Reporting Specialist will be responsible for handling investor portfolio reporting for delinquent loans including facilitating resolution of escalated loan level issues, assisting with reviewing reports, operational issues and ensuring delivery of the highest level of service required to meet investor's needs. Monitors and updates reporting to ensure accurate reporting to investors.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitors and maintains accuracy of Default Code for all investors
- Monitor and process daily and month end Edit Reports
- Submit manual events as needed for all VA loans reported daily through VALERI system and ensures event codes are accepted through the VALERI System, if any rejects notifies the appropriate personnel to re-submit corrections through the VALERI website
- Corresponds with VA office to resolve technical issues with VALERI System
- Monitor VA loans to ensure properly insured for reporting purposes
- Submits Fannie Mae Daily files through Portal by deadline(s)
- Assist with Default Investor reporting mid-month and month-end ensuring system is updated and ensure reports are submitted to investor by designated deadlines
- Assist with HUD Single Family Default Monitoring Report to update coding on our system and FHA Connection
- Report Redemption dates, Title acquired dates, Foreclosure sales, DIL and Short sales to investors
- Escalate to management any deficiencies, problems, or concerns that might be a potential risk
- Respond to investor requests via phone or email as applicable
- Assist investors with any issues they may be experiencing
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Job Requirements
- 1 years of Default Reporting experience
- Strong working knowledge of MSP and Black Knight products
- FHA and VA experience strongly preferred
- Mortgage Servicing experience a plus
- Investor Relations experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask
- Good organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
