Location : Grapevine, TX
Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM
Employment Type : Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities :
Accurately code and process medical claims, ensuring compliance with billing regulations.
Handle insurance denials, appeals, and claims follow-up efficiently.
Verify patient insurance and coordinate with payers to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and billing procedures.
Qualifications :
Certification in Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
2 Years of Medical Coding experience REQUIRED
Proficiency with billing software and EMR systems (NextGen / Healthfusion EMR experience is a plus).
Experience in wound care and orthopedic or podiatry billing is highly preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
