CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a healthcare provider focused on women’s imaging services and is currently recruiting for the following position:
Job Title: Patient Service Representative
Location: Nashville, TN
Pay: $18-21/hr
Schedule: 8:30am- 5pm Monday–Friday
Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced medical environment. This role includes front desk operations such as patient check-in, registration, payment processing, and appointment scheduling. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth
• Accurately input and verify patient demographics and insurance details in EMR
• Collect copays and process payments (mostly credit cards)
• Manage incoming phone calls across multiple lines
• Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed
• Scan and upload patient documentation using document management systems
• Support clinical flow by preparing forms and escorting patients to changing areas
• Maintain accurate end-of-day reconciliation logs
• Adhere to strict confidentiality and clinic standards
• Participate in team training and stay current on front office procedures
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of healthcare front desk or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR systems (Royal Pay, E-Rad), and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage high-pressure situations
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
Preferred Skills:
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
• Experience with document management systems (MDM)
• Reliable attendance – no time off approved during first 3 weeks of training, punctuality and accountability are critical
• Must provide own black scrubs
