The ideal candidate has a proven track record in planning, conducting, and administering employee training programs to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, and implement training programs for financial and accounting systems to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assess training needs through job analysis, individual evaluations, system audits, and leadership consultation.
- Develop structured training resources to address system knowledge gaps.
- Train staff on policies, procedures, and accounting software to optimize workflows.
- Evaluate current software utilization and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Create training manuals for common tasks and coordinate training sessions for accounting teams.
- Stay updated on system updates and trends, liaising with vendors as needed.
- Ensure training programs align with industry standards and compliance requirements.
- Assist with managing user access and roles in accounting systems.
- Monitor training outcomes and maintain reporting documentation.
- Adapt existing software training materials to company needs.
- Facilitate new hire training for accounting software.
- Contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to reliably commute and report to the office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with a strong academic record.
- 7 years of accounting industry experience.
- 5 years of training experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Bill.com (QBO and BILL certifications preferred).
- Experience with tax software is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Solid understanding of accounting, financial concepts, and controls.
