Pending CCC Regional Board of Trustees approval, we are seeking a Human Resources Assistant who will be responsible to provide administrative / secretarial support in the areas of HR office coordination, transactions, records, announcements, event planning and customer service.
Occasional meetings at different CCC locations and in the community may be required; travel to conferences and / or recruiting events may be required. Prolonged time sitting / standing working with computers and monitors, ability to walk / move across campus including walking up and down stairs, ability to lift up to 20 pounds (occasionally may be more), repeated motions may include keyboard typing. Typical office and indoor building environments, occasional outdoor activity may be required.

Essential Functions
Human Resources Department Support (30%)
- Provide high level administrative support to Executive Director of Human Resources and HR staff
- Assist with confidential and sensitive personnel matters and information with appropriate discretion, including data / search requests, calendaring, reporting, and meeting agendas
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR-related employment files, records and documentation per the College records retention policy
- Process new hire and separation paperwork for employees (including full time, part time, seasonal, faculty, adjunct, union, and student employees)
- Assist with retrieving records from both paper and electronic files as needed, i.e. to assist with FOIL requests, legal proceedings, reporting, etc.
- Assist with RBOT HR Committee Board reports, including dashboard reporting
- Perform periodic audits of HR Files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
