Day to Day ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of Corning and / or contingent security officers with oversight of team performance, training and responsibilitiesMaintain a working relationship with the contract security provider and leadership on hiring needs, performance and expectations of security officer requirementsLead continuous improvement of the security team operations and security officer training programsEstablish and maintain a solid partnership with site leadership, with focus on the organizational strategies of both Global Security and the facilityImplement security policies and procedures and conduct employee awareness trainingSupport investigative matters with initial fact finding and ongoing action through partnership with Security Operations, Investigations and facility leadershipAttend facility project meetings, provide security guidance and coordination of technical / vendor support with the CGS Service Delivery TeamMaintain an understanding of CGS security standards, conduct ongoing security assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate riskEnsure functionality and compliance with security technology and programsEstablish and maintain partnership with local law enforcement agenciesParticipate on CGS and facility project teamsTravel Requirements :Work Hours : Standard business hours (M-F), with flexibility to support a 24 / 7 operation when neededExperiences / Education - RequiredBS degree required, or two-year degree plus 3-5 years experience in a security or leadership positionSound judgment, confidence, and the ability to make solid decisionsAbility to maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentialityStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels of the corporationAbility to work independently and be self-motivatedPositive attitude, high initiative, and strong work ethicAbility to manage and deliver on multiple prioritiesMust have strong technical skills with security systems, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to navigate other platformsExperiences / Education - DesiredPrior leadership experienceExperience in a corporate security functionASIS CPP or PSP certificationUS Citizenship required.In order to comply with Corning's government contract requirement at this location, if you receive and offer of employment for this position, you will need to provide documentation of your U.S. citizen status.This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $77,902.00 - $107,115.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
