Graphic Designer/Digital Media Coordinator

Corning Place Communications (CPC), a leading strategic communications agency seeks an experienced graphic design professional to join our team. CPC is a wholly owned affiliate of Hinman Straub PC, a top law firm in Albany. Together with Hinman Straub Advisors and Hinman Straub Association Management, these groups serve more than 100 clients representing nearly every business sector.

Duties Description

The graphic designer/digital media coordinator will play a key role in supporting CPC and Hinman Straub’s diverse and growing portfolio of clients. This position will support graphic design needs, launching social campaigns, creating and managing social media content, and tracking performance to measure and improve results.

Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Branding

• Create and update marketing materials, outreach resources, e-newsletters, presentations, and event assets
• Design visuals for web pages, social media, and internal communications
• Edit and resize images for various platforms
• Maintain brand consistency across all client projects

Social Media & Digital Content

• Develop, schedule, and manage social media content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and YouTube
• Launch, monitor, and evaluate social media campaigns to optimize performance
• Assist clients in maintaining their individual brand voices across social channels
• Build and maintain editorial calendars for digital campaigns
• Update client websites with photos, videos, and graphics
• Create and edit short-form video content and social media reels

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in graphic design.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products.
• Experience with social media content development, management, and/or analysis or some combination of marketing and communications experience that includes a strong and demonstrable focus on social media.
• Knowledge of and experience using Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and an interest in other growing social platforms.
• Understanding of Meta’s business and ads manager platforms.
• Familiarity with creating different forms of content (video, social media reels, photos, graphics) for use on social media and the ability to make quick turnaround edits as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in graphic design, art, or related field required.
• Understanding of Loomly and/or other social planning tools.
• Familiarity and/or willingness to learn basic website building and design skills.

The salary range is $45,000 to $55,000, commensurate with experience.
