Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family law. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to our clients while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Assist in the representation of clients in family law legal matters, including Domestic Restraining Orders
- Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide sound legal advice tailored to their specific situations.
- Participate in court appearances and negotiations as required, advocating effectively on behalf of clients.
- Maintain organized case files and documentation in accordance with law office procedures.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Strong understanding of various areas of law, including but not limited to patent law, workers' compensation law, and estate planning.
- Excellent legal drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically about complex legal issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $123,459.00 - $134,860.00 per year
