Your Role:
• Make outgoing calls to past due borrowers to arrange payments after reviewing past due accounts with both dealers and borrowers.
• Answer calls from borrowers and occasionally dealers regarding borrower accounts.
• Process payments via the internet from borrowers after negotiating payment arrangements.
• Approve and process deferred payments after evaluating the situation.
• Arrange repossession of goods sold to borrowers as necessary.
• Provide payoff quotes to dealers on borrower accounts.
• Investigate and process misapplied payments due to internal and external errors.
• Maintain collection reference files on a PC and review account receivables periodically.
• Perform other duties as needed.
What we’re looking for:
• High School Degree or GED required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of collection experience required, preferably with consumer credit (i.e., credit cards, third-party collections, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer database systems.
Location:
• Corporate Office, 5 days a week.
