What are the responsibilities and job description for the Church Administrator position at Coronado Community United Methodist Church?

- Team Leadership: Supervise administrative, financial, and custodial staff. Work with the Day School Director to supervise Day School Staff. Supports clergy, other staff members, and volunteer leaders as needed.
- Operations Management: Maintain church records, church calendar, church policies and employee benefit plans as directed by the Church Leadership Team.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor upcoming and approved expenses. Assist in budget preparation, and financial reporting ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
- Facilities Coordination: Oversee the maintenance of all church properties and equipment including vehicles.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Identify, negotiates and manage contracts with service providers and contractors.
Required:
· Business or Accounting degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
· Proven human resource management, budget preparation and financial oversight.
· Experience in coordinating building and grounds maintenance and care.
· Computer literate, with skills in the use of databases, email, Microsoft Word and Excel. Willingness to learn Realm (church database) and Easy Worship (projection software).
· Valid Driver’s License
Preferred:
· Three or more years of administrative or operational experience.
· Local resident of Southeast Volusia County or the surrounding area or counties.
Physical Requirements:
· Physical stamina to manage a dynamic active congregation.
· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
· Ability to perform facility walkthroughs and on-site supervision.

Pay: $55,507.00 per year
