What you'll be doing
THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing all operational and commercial activities for Corpay One Denmark, ensuring the effective alignment of sales, product, customer support, customer success, and office management functions. The COO will play a critical role in executing the company’s strategic vision, optimizing processes, and driving sustainable growth.
This role requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen and operational expertise to enhance Corpay One’s market position in Denmark. The COO will work closely with the CFO, CTO, and Compliance teams to ensure financial alignment, technical collaboration, and regulatory adherence..
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Develop and implement operational and commercial strategies to drive growth and efficiency in Denmark.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between sales, product, and customer-facing teams to enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.
- Align local operations with global company objectives while maintaining flexibility for market-specific needs.
- Partner with the General Manager to shape and execute Corpay One’s strategic vision in Denmark.
Sales & Commercial Management
- Lead and manage the sales organization to drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and optimize sales effectiveness.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand Corpay One’s reach in the European market.
Product & Customer Success
- Work closely with product teams to ensure the roadmap aligns with customer needs and market demands.
- Oversee customer success initiatives, ensuring strong adoption, retention, and satisfaction metrics.
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity, optimizing onboarding, support, and engagement processes.
Operations & Process Optimization
- Streamline business processes to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee office management functions, ensuring a productive and inclusive work environment.
- Implement best practices in team collaboration, performance management, and internal communications.
Collaboration with Finance, Technology, and Compliance
- Partner with the CFO to align financial planning, budgeting, and cost optimization efforts.
- Work closely with the CTO to ensure seamless integration between product, technology, and operations.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 10 years of leadership experience in operations, sales, or commercial functions, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or B2B software industries.
- Proven track record in scaling commercial operations and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and customer success strategies.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in international organizations with a mix of local and centralized functions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in financial services, payments, or expense management solutions.
- Knowledge of Danish business regulations and compliance requirements.
- Fluency in Danish and English.
