About the Role
CI is looking for talented and motivated Summer Interns to join our Research Team. Interns support our Research Associates, Analysts, and Project Managers in conducting custom and syndicated research projects for clients in the financial services and healthcare industries. Typical engagements involve benchmarking a client firm’s website or app versus competitors’ and identifying industry best practices and key trends.
The Intern’s chief responsibility will be to contribute to team-based projects and deliverables by performing and supporting detailed research and analysis, collecting competitive intelligence and collaborating on client-facing written reports and presentations. Interns will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of products and consulting projects, gaining experience in a variety of industries and research methods.
Interns will work four days a week in the office, with Fridays off. Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor visas for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting Associates, Analysts, Senior Analysts and Project Managers on client engagements and syndicated research deliverables, with a focus on collecting competitive intelligence on the digital experience
- Detailing competitive insights across competitive sets
- Conducting primary research on assigned topics and developing findings
- Managing multiple project-related tasks simultaneously
This position is suited for a undergraduates interested in beginning a career in business, consulting, research or financial services. Your resume should outline your qualitative research, writing, and project management experience, including major school projects. Successful applicants have a range of backgrounds, including but not limited to business, economics, English, history, chemistry, government, and sociology. Note: This is not a financial analyst position.

- Ability to handle multiple research projects simultaneously and maintain excellent work quality under tight deadlines
Preferred qualifications:
- An understanding of both website usability principles and personal finance
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive is a plus)
